"KeepAndBearArms.com is a grassroots movement of the people, by the people, and for the people.  It is a call to action, a call for self-education, and a 21 gun salute to the many good men and women who fought and died to bring America into being.
This web site is about helping lawful people maintain their abilities to protect themselves and the people they love effectively from anyone who would do them harm - through legal, private ownership and use of guns.  We also stand for the repealing of all gun laws which infringe on the civil rights of peaceable women and men to defend their own lives and property."

Evaluation of Book citied in post 4

The author of my book Gun Control and Gun Rights, Constance Emerson Crooker fortuanately had information about her in the book. The information is as follows: "CONSTANCE EMERSON CROOLER is a writer and a retired attorney living in Portland, Oregon. Her law practice has included defense of gun crimes. She was director of the office of the Tillamook Public Defender and has also managed a private practice of law, emphasizing criminal defense. She is the author of The Art of Legal Interpretation: A Guide for Court Interpreters (1996) published by Portland State University's Education Press." Constance has authority over this topic based on her background in the law system dealing with guns and gun rights.
